About the board
The RMSMC Board sets policies, hears reports and proposals, and approves the annual budgets for student media (about $1.2 million annually). Board members are also encouraged to sit on a committee that handles work between meetings, including board recruitment, special events, strategic planning, engagement, personnel, and other ad hoc committees.
The Board meets monthly during the school year, usually in the Lory Student Center from 5:30 to 7:00 PM on the third Wednesday of the month (the week can shift around breaks). Summer meetings are held by conference call as needed.
